anni ‘70: l’immagine come controinformazione a cura di Lucilla Meloni Negli anni Settanta, in pieno clima concettuale, alcuni artisti indagano la natura delle immagini mediali, al fine di demistificare la manipolazione operata dal potere; altri, attraverso l’uso del videotape, ritenuto uno strumento comunitario, si fanno produttori di immagini ‘vere’, democraticamente condivise, nel desiderio di creare una ‘televisione di strada’. A partire da queste esperienze, che promuovevano la conoscenza dei linguaggi (conoscerli per demistificarli, crearli per non subirli) si sviluppa la riflessione sul divenire dell’immagine nella società contemporanea. radioaktivität | arte e radiofonia a cura di Stefano Perna Grazie alla sua capacità di lavorare sull’ascolto e sullo sviluppo di una sua specifica “arte”, di dislocare il senso di presenza, di produrre visioni pur in assenza di immagini, la radio ha continuamente attratto l’attenzione di artisti che, dalle prime avanguardie novecentesche fino agli attuali scenari delle reti digitali, ne hanno voluto sondare potenziali, codici e virtualità. Sotto forma di palinsesto e mediante una serie di interventi in stile ‘radiofonico’ e performance sonore, la giornata esplorerà i rapporti tra radio e sperimentazione artistica. terre in disordine. voci racconti immagini della Campania di oggi a cura di Marina Vergiani Il complesso rapporto tra memoria, creazione, narrazione, si manifesta nella produzione artistica contemporanea che, muovendosi con impegno e disinvoltura crescente tra mezzi e strumenti, accentua le relazioni tra immagine, suono, informazione, trasmissione. È il caso di opere e documenti che vedono la convergenza di apporti letterari, cinematografici, fotografici, musicali, ma soprattutto che si realizzano mediante la condivisione di esperienze dirette e di codici espressivi che pongono sempre al centro la ricerca ed il superamento di un confine dato. december 17, 2009 the 1970’s: image as counter-information curated by Lucilla Meloni In the 1970’s, at the height of the conceptual-art era, some artists investigated the nature of mass-media images in order to demystify the manipulation carried out by “the powers that be.” Others, using videotape, thought to be a community-based tool, became producers of “real” images, shared democratically in the desire to create a “street television.” Beginning with these experiences, which promoted the understanding of different language registers(made known in order to be debunked, created in order not to have them foisted upon oneself), they reflected on the nature of the image in contemporary society. december 18, 2009 radioaktivität | art and radiophonics curated by Stefano Perna Thanks to its ability to stimulate listening, and to develop a specific “art” able to dislocate the sense of presence, to produce vision even in the absence of images, radio has continually attracted the attention of artists who, from the first 20th-century avant-gardes through to the current scenarios taking place on digital networks, have longed to sound its potential depths, codes and virtuality. december 19, 2009 lands in disarray. voices stories images from today’s Campania curated by Marina Vergiani The complex relationship among memory, creation and narration appears in contemporary artistic production which, moving steadfastly and unabashedly among media and tools, accentuates the relationships among image, sound, information and broadcast. This is the case of art pieces and documents that are created via the sharing of first-hand experiences and expressive codes – placed front and center is artistic research and the overcoming of established boundaries.The Forum’s third day investigates the reciprocal attractions among inquiry, narrative reportage, the “raids” of real voices and figures, and the landscape traced by the arts in our “lands in disarray” (the image that defines how the areas in Campania are perceived nowadays) with: Stefano Laffi / Nicola Muccillo / Pasquale Scialò / related event audio-visual installation _ Lands in Disarray.
